We are the Brown family, and we are excited to share our place with you.

We have three kids and a yellow lab, which means life is rarely quiet and never boring. Home base for our family is Columbus, Ohio. We love the outdoors and chasing adventure, but we have learned that some of the best moments are found close to home, whether that is in our own backyard or just across the street. Big, expensive trips are often just chasing the wind. The good stuff is usually closer than we think.

Sonder Ridge sits on nearly 40 acres of untouched, wooded land just five miles from Ash Cave and Hocking Hills State Park. In April 2022, we broke ground with a simple goal. Create a place where our family and friends could truly get away. Not just a change of scenery, but a change of pace.

We wanted a space where people could unplug, rest deeply, and make meaningful memories together.

Sonder Ridge is our response to a life that often feels like it is moving at warp speed. It is a place to slow down, reflect, and breathe. A place for quiet mornings, long conversations, and the kind of rest that actually restores you.

This is not just another escape from reality. It is a place to reconnect with what matters most. Your people, your thoughts, and the world right in front of you. A place to reset, refocus, and step back into life with a clearer mind and a fuller heart.
